Paige’s Story
I was starting to believe I was crazy, depressed and a hypochondriac. I’m 38 years old and my kids are 7, 8 and 9 years old. After my third child was born I never got my strength back. I was exhausted, overwhelmed and I couldn’t think straight. My body ached, I was always cold and my hair was thinning. I could fall asleep almost anywhere. I would go to the doctor and they would say “of course you are tired, you have small babies now”, “your blood work is normal”, “maybe you are depressed”, “let’s try some Prozac”, “What else do you want us to do for you?” I tried different MD’s over the years, and then tried an acupuncturist, a nutritionist, a hypnotist, homeopathic medicine and lastly an endocrinologist. Nothing ever changed except my willingness to accept life as it was and envy those with energy to grab life by the horns.
Last year after my consult at the Hotze Wellness Center, my life started to change.
I could feel the woman that had been trapped inside her tired body was coming back.
Now, I have a lot of catching up to do. I started exercising again and losing weight,
I started working in an emergency room part time, I became more active with my kids, and I water skied last summer for the first time in 10 years. I now have the energy to pursue a childhood dream of working with horses. I have 3 horses now! My cholesterol levels improved. I’ve planted flowers and organized my home.
Life is challenging! Trouble and stress are still everyday hurdles but I have my health back and the energy to make choices. I’m back in the game of life. I am forever grateful to have my life back. I can now treasure being the wife of a brilliant and wonderful man and the mother of 3 wonderful kids. Not to mention, my faith, my career, my dogs, my horses, my garden and, most of all, my future.
