Kathy’s Story

A coma at age 6 left my heart valves defective and could have put me on a course to being a cardiac cripple. However, I am a second generation Registered Nurse, so I thought that my medical background could help me take better care of myself and postpone the inevitable open heart surgery. I believed that conventional medicine had all the right answers and that I just needed to follow conservative therapies to stay well.

I began experiencing severe hormonal problems as early as 14. My periods were long and irregular. I counted my blessings because my sister had terrible cramps. A 2 week slow hemorrhage seemed preferable compared to her pain. I was on birth control at 16 to help control the bleeding from endometriosis and I continued having hormonal problems all the way through college combined with weight loss.

I married at 23 and my internist told me that I should not have children due to the strain on my heart. I found a cardiologist who promised to help me get through a pregnancy but I ended up on several cardiac drugs which I took for 30 years. I had 2 great sons after all kinds of hormone problems and I thank God every day for the blessing. Following the birth of my second son, the physicians could no longer control the bleeding and I ended up having a hysterectomy at age 32. It was at this time that my other symptoms began to get worse while taking too many ineffective drugs like Premarin.

I began having severe arrhythmias and was hospitalized for atrial fibrillation at age 33. I had severe fibrocystic breast disease and benign fibro adenomas, so I was forced to have bilateral mastectomies at age 41 with subsequent breast reconstructive surgery.

By the age of 45, I was having severe allergies, asthma and chronic sinus infections. I had to have 2 different painful endoscopic sinus surgeries, and one doctor told me that it was the saline implants. Another said I was hyperthyroid, but my symptoms did not match at all. Finally, after a cardiac cath, I decided it was time to take another course of action!

My husband & I saw the ad for Dr. Hotze on a SW flight to Dallas. I called for an appointment and begged them to squeeze me in at the earliest available date. My blood work was completely out of kilter, but the great team listened to my symptoms and gave me my life back. I have been on the bio-identical hormones for almost a year. I am now off all of the other prescribed medications that made me feel terrible for almost 30 years. I now think that hormone imbalances played a huge part in all my illnesses.

I actually sleep all night and have energy to burn during the day! The body aches that I had endured for years and swelling are all gone. I felt so much better that I changed jobs and I am now the Region VP for a multi billion dollar medical firm. I have talked with Dr. Hotze on his radio talk show and encourage everyone to take the first step to health & happiness. I have a wonderful new life at age 51 thanks to their efforts & you can too!

Call now so you can enjoy life and not waste the precious years I lost!
