Sweet-n-Natural Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

Are you looking for a snack that allows you to remain faithful the yeast-free eating program?  Toasted pumpkin seeds can be mixed with all sorts of spices to satisfy your sweet, salty or spicy craving.

Sweet-n-Natural Pumpkin Seeds

1 cup pumpkin seeds
6 Tbsp.  Sweet-N-Natural
1/4 tsp.  salt
1/2 tsp.  pumpkin pie spice, powder
2 Tsp. expeller-pressed

1.Preheat oven to 250 degree F.  Spread pumpkin seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet.  Toast for about 20-30 minutes until dry and toasted, stir occasionally.
2.Stir together 2 Tbsp. of sweet n natural, salt, and pumpkin pie spice in a large bowl. Set aside.
3.Heat oil in a large skillet over medium–high heat.  Add the pumpkin seeds and sprinkle the remaining sweet natural over them.  Stir until sweet n natural has melted (about 1 min).
4.Pour seeds into bowl with Sweet-n-Natural/spice mixture and stir until coated.
5.Cool before serving and store in an air tight container at room temperature.

Per serving: 211 calories, 9g protein, 5.6g carbohydrates, 21g fat, 5g saturated fat, 1g fiber, 152mg sodium, 0mg cholesterol, You can experiment with a spicier version of the recipe above using spicy hot ingredients such as chili powder, chile flakes or wasabi if you want to turn the heat up a notch! Also, try toasting different seeds such as sunflower seeds.,
