Thinking Outside the Box of Chocolates

Are you ready for Valentine’s Day? The over achievers – you know who you are – have already ordered the flowers, picked out the card, and have found the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day. Yes, you most likely turned your homework in a few days early in grade school and have your Christmas gifts wrapped by December 1. We applaud this behavior and it is to be esteemed.

But let’s face it, the majority of us are just now getting our Valentine’s plans in order. We’re desperately scrambling to come up with the Ultimate Valentine’s Day gift, a card that’s not too sappy, all the while hoping against hope that there’s still an opening at a nice restaurant.

As you leave work today and run your last minute Valentine’s errands, think about giving your loved ones something outside of the chocolate box. Now a little dark chocolate certainly has its benefits, but maybe this year you should try something unexpected. Maybe a gift that says I love you AND I want you to be around for a long time! Whether this might be a membership to a gym, nutrition evaluation, a massage (), vitamins or even a walk around the park, we challenge you this Valentine’s Day to be on the lookout for ways to invest in your loved one’s health.

We hope you have a fun-filled Valentine’s weekend and yes, go ahead – a little chocolate on special occasions won’t be the end of the world. Think of it as our Valentine to you: a guilt-free piece of chocolate.

Happy Valentine’s!
