1:47: You have to get adequate amounts of your inactive thyroid hormone into your cells. It has to be activated so your power plants can produce energy so you have energy to run all the cellular functions you have, including your brain function.

2:37: You’ve been to your doctor and your doctor said, “Your blood tests are normal.” Well doc, 95% of the people’s blood tests are normal because that’s how the lab defines what’s normal. Have you experienced a decline in your mental sharpness and acuity? Have you ever had brain fog? Have you ever thought you might be developing Alzheimer’s?

I’m Dr. Steve Hotze. Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel, as well as our Facebook page. I believe that you need a physician and a staff of professionals who will coach you onto a path of health and wellness naturally so you enjoy better quality of life without having to take prescribed pharmaceutical drugs. Does that make sense to you?

We’re talking about loss of mental sharpness and acuity, which inevitably happens to people as they age, or often does, but it doesn’t have to. Let me explain the common causes of that, particularly as you march through mid-life.

Thyroid Hormone and Energy

Your mental acuity and sharpness is determined by the amount of energy that your cells produce within your brain. Guess what’s the most important molecule your body makes to ensure that you keep your metabolism elevated and your energy level up, producing high levels of energy in the power plants of your cells so you feel great and your organs all work great, including your brain? It’s your thyroid hormone. Your thyroid hormone comes from the thyroid gland of the neck and it’s secreted in the blood. Doesn’t do anything in the blood. I don’t care what your blood levels are, if they’re within the normal range. I know this. You have to get adequate amounts of your inactive thyroid hormone into your cells. It has to be activated so your power plants can produce energy so you have energy to run all the cellular functions you have, including your brain function.

Common Symptoms of Hypothyroidism

Very commonly, we see individuals who come to our center here at the Hotze Health & Wellness Center International complaining of a decline in their energy levels, oftentimes difficulty in losing weight, low body temperatures, and they complain of lack of mental sharpness and lack of mental acuity. They can’t sleep well. They may have joint and muscle aches and pains. They may have constipation or irregular bowel function. They’re puffy. They’re pale. They just don’t feel good. The common cause of these problems is one cause. It’s low thyroid within your cells.

Don’t Rely on a Blood Test to Diagnose Hypothyroidism

I know. You’ve been to your doctor and your doctor said, “Your blood tests are normal.” Well doc, 95% of the people’s blood tests are normal because that’s how the lab defines what’s normal. You can’t hardly fall out of the normal range. It’s as wide as the Grand Canyon, as tall as the Empire State Building.  I believe this, that anybody who has the signs and symptoms of low thyroid condition within their cells, deserves a therapeutic trial of natural desiccated thyroid. That’s what we do here.

Natural Solution for a Sharp Brain

Don’t let some doctor start you on antidepressants, anti-anxiety medication, all kinds of psychiatric medication for Alzheimer’s, which doesn’t help a bit. Get your hormones corrected. Get on a good eating program. Balance your hormones. Take your vitamins and minerals. Get on a good exercise program. You’ll be amazed how sharp you’ll be mentally in no time.
