Common Cause of Fatigue and Lack of Focus in College Students

Are your children struggling to make it through college?  Are they lacking in energy and unable to focus in school?  They should be filled with energy and enthusiasm during this time in their life, and if they’re not, then something could very well be going on with their hormones.  They are not too young to have hypothyroidism or hormone deficiencies that can negatively affect their health and well-being.

Hormonal problems such as hypothyroidism and adrenal fatigue usually occur in adults; however the younger population is experiencing this more often today. Many college students rely on coffee, energy drinks such as Red Bull, and even prescription drugs such as Adderall or Ritalin to give them the energy boost they need so they can focus and study.  But none of those will solve the underlying cause of their fatigue, and can be potentially dangerous to their health.

Take a look at the symptoms of hypothyroidism
