Cathy’s Story – Symptoms after a Hysterectomy
I do not know where to start. I came to your office looking for some help for my low libido. I had a total hysterectomy 4 years ago and for the last year I have not had a sex drive at all!! I had also gained about 15 pounds and until now did not realize I was a little depressed. I work and have always joked that I have ADD. I could not complete one task. I would walk from room to room at home forgetting what I was going to get. I had never been a pill taker and did not stick to any vitamin or health regimen. I have tried all sorts of weight loss tablets and any fad I thought might work. I went to 2 different doctors searching for help and both told me my thyroid was working and I was fine. Just because I am not obese, no one would help me.

I have been on the yeast-free diet and taking the hormones and supplements along with the thyroid medicine. I lost 5 pounds the first week and I have so far lost about 8 pounds in 3 weeks and several inches around my waist. Because of the progesterone, I can tell a difference with my libido already. I also have noticed that I am so happy. I joke and tell my friends that there is a happy pill in the power pack of vitamins. I am exercising now and can not tell you how good I feel. The eating program was really easy; I thought I would really struggle but I had my mind made up.
