Why Am I So Tired All The Time

As a mom, you want to be the best parent you can be to your kids.  Yet, more and more, you might be asking yourself, “why am I so tired all the time?” You wake up tired. You drag yourself through the day tired. You go to bed tired. And the next morning the cycle begins again. This lack of energy can severely affect your quality of life and your ability to be the best mom, wife and friend that you want to be.

Can you relate to the following?

• Are you finding it exhausting to take care of your children?
• Is it all you can do to get up and drive them to school, and do you need a nap when you get home?
• Is it overwhelming to think of doing any housework?
• Are you falling asleep at stoplights or at the kitchen table?

You give all you have to your family, but if you are struggling to make it through the day because you have no energy, please know that you are not alone and there is a natural solution.

3 Root Causes of Low Energy

Contrary to popular belief, it’s not normal to feel that tired just because you are getting older and have children. You should have energy and feel your best as you march through your life. It is important to get to the root cause of low energy, which includes:

1. Hypothyroidism

One of the most debilitating symptoms of hypothyroidism, or low thyroid function, is extreme fatigue. Hypothyroidism is a condition in which a) your thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormones, or b) your thyroid gland is making enough thyroid hormones, but those hormones are not properly used at the cellular level (called type 2 hypothyroidism), or c) your body makes antibodies to your thyroid gland, called Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis.

With hypothyroidism, your metabolism slows down and you don’t have the energy you need to function well, and the resulting fatigue is a very common symptom. Research shows that hypothyroidism is associated with fatigue. (1)

You probably already did your research and figured this out for yourself.  “Ahhh…I must have hypothyroidism.” Finally you found the answer. Then you go to your doctor who tells you that “your blood work is normal” and you are fine. But you don’t feel fine. He sends you home with antidepressants or anti-anxiety medications.

Beware that conventional doctors use a single blood test, the Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), to diagnose hypothyroidism, which can often fail the patient. The lab range for the TSH blood test is so wide that it encompasses the majority of people. You can fall “within the normal range” and still have hypothyroidism.

It is important to find a doctor who listens and evaluates you according to your symptoms, as well.

2. Adrenal Fatigue

Adrenal fatigue occurs when the adrenal glands cannot produce enough cortisol to meet the demands of your body. Your adrenal glands are worn out, so you feel increasingly fatigued – the number one symptom of adrenal fatigue. Research demonstrates that low cortisol levels can cause fatigue. (2)

Adrenal fatigue is a common health problem, yet most conventional doctors do not recognize adrenal fatigue as a real condition. Supplementing with bioidentical cortisol will help support the adrenal glands while they recover, while also eliminating your fatigue.

3. Nutritional deficiencies

The American diet is sorely lacking in adequate nutrition, leading to a host of nutrient deficiencies which deplete energy.

Dr. Hotze recommends a yeast-free, keto, gluten-free eating program for optimal health and energy. Did you know that you can have organic healthy meals delivered directly to your home? Dr. Hotze created Hotze Healthy Meals just for this reason. It allows you to have healthy, nutritious meals without having to do all the shopping and meal prep. A real time-saver that keeps you healthy!

Dr. Hotze also designed his Energy Formula multi-vitamin not only to fulfill those essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients that you need, but to surpass the recommended daily amount so that you get far more nutrients and are able to function at your absolute best and enjoy the life you were designed to live. Energy Formula improves overall energy production at a cellular level.

THANK YOU so much for your online information. It is helping me speak up to my Doctor so I can have more energy and hopefully stop gaining weight. I have just switched to a T3 thyroid supplement and if that does not work, I will see about the hormones. I also add D3 with K2 and that helped me feel better immediately.

Thank you , thank you THANK YOU
